For the last several years I have been a Mini Cooper enthusiast despite my many years spent behind the wheels of VW automobiles. With the most recent Mini redesign, I have lost my passion, particularly since a U.S. version of the diesel has been put on hold indefinitely. The new VW TDi models have stolen the thunder from Mini and I am intent on making my next car either a Jetta SportWagen TDi or Golf/Rabbit. The additional horsepower, exceptional torque, and fuel efficiency, I am eager to join the TDi enthusiasts of the world. I will upgrade the powertrain, engine CPU, suspension, and exhaust system to extract maximum performance, and make a few cosmetic and interior modifications to personalize the vehicle and voila … I will be a happy man!

My 2006 Jetta TDI 5speed with 115000 miles has been trouble free from the time I roll it off the dealership showroom floor and with hi-way milage holding at 48mpg. I’m keeping it till the wheels fall off.
